We apologize that you did not have the most pleasant encounters with our staff on your last visit. Safari is great, but avoid the people who apparently own it. Needless to say we left immediately without buying anything and won't be back. Pretty neat seeing as how there were tiny kids EVERYWHERE. I'm 6 months pregnant and had my kid so we were trying to go quickly and my sister said 'I can't believe they let them smoke right here.' Clearly, the girl heard her because she snapped 'this is MY family's business and we are too busy for me to take a smoke break so I can smoke right here!' Towards the end, my sister, who is visiting, and I took my 2 year old to get souvenirs from the gift shop.there was a younger girl smoking by the door and the entire picnic area and gift shop smelled horrible. Afterwards, we parked and walked around to see everything. I smiled and was polite and we had a great time. The last tour departs Safari Station one hour before closing. Our tours last around 45 minutes, providing plenty of time to take in the entire tour without tiring out the youngest in your group. Rides go out right when the park opens, and guests are welcome to come early to avoid crowds or waiting in long lines.
